HOW DOES THIS DAY MINISTRIES HELP CHURCHES?

I am often asked, "How does This Day Ministries help churches?"   This is a great question, because the answers go straight to the heart of what This Day Ministries is all about.
1) Every message is straight from the Bible. I know this sounds cliche, but it's true. I learned years ago that "to get them with a gimmick, you have to keep them with a gimmick". Genuine transformation in heart's is a direct relation to the truth of Scripture being preached. People are craving substance. This Day Ministries gives Biblical substance.

2) Every message is geared toward challenging, inspiring, and motivating the professed believer to live a surrendered life to Christ. My life was stained with lukewarmness and apathy......one hand on God and one hand in the world - and this was after I professed Christ. I do not have the raw data, but my guesstimate is that their is a high percentage of professed Christians who are in cruise control and doing church on the sidelines. I have a deep passion for the professed believer to raise the bar and get in the game and make a difference while they are here on this earth.   This Day Ministries challenges the church body to live genuine surrendered lives for Christ.

3) Every message also points the non-believer to the grace and mercy of the cross and the empty tomb, and through the willing spotless sacrifice that Jesus gave to those who place their faith in Him, and Him alone. I often think of the those in our community who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, and if they died today, would spend eternity apart from God....this deeply burdens my heart.  This Day Ministries has a unwavering conviction to reach out to the non-believer and share with them the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

4) In addition, knowing that "as the man goes, so does the home and the church", coming alongside of men and helping them grow in Christ is a major driving force behind This Day MinistriesThe statistics do not lie. If the man leads in the home as God has called him to do, over 90% of the time, the rest of the family follows and accepts Christ. I am convinced, if men become consumed with Christ and are passionate about being used by Him "as they are going", that we can literally change the world, for God's glory.

5) Two primary foundations of This Day Ministries is what the words "This Day" convey:

A) Intentionality: This Day Ministries strives to bring both the professed believer and the non-believer into an intentional relationship with Christ. Not a passive relationship, but rather a focused and intentional relationship with Christ.
B) Urgency: This Day Ministries strives to communicate a sense of urgency in our intentionality.  Choose This Day......now is the time to live for Christ.  We must have an urgent intentionality as we pursue an intimate relationship with Christ.

6) This Day Ministries' desire is not to be in competition with pastors, but rather to come alongside, encourage, and be a resource as they seek to shepherd the church family that God has entrusted to them.
